Our Vegas trip was awful! we should have known it was going to be bad when we found out that we were staying at the Sahara, but we figured we would go anyway because it was a free trip. we got to our room and the air conditioner was so loud we couldn't even hear each other so we switched rooms.... little did we know the hotel is so old that you cant control your own a/c, its controlled by the hotel. well... our room was 85 degrees and rising. I called and raised heck with the front desk to switch our room again and they informed me the whole hotel was booked due to (7/7/07) LUCKY SEVENS! WHAT A JOKE! at one point of the night in our 85 degree room i started to cry because i was so hot. haha! the next day we went to see the pirate show at treasure island which has now turned into a seductive whore show with girls dancing around in thongs seducing pirates. SWEET... so then we head over to see the tigers at the mirage (which was another childhood memory i have from Vegas) and we were informed we would have to pay fifteen dollars to see the freaking tigers! WHAT A JOKE! so we bailed and ended up spending the rest of our trip shopping. oh, and to add to the disaster it was 118 degrees outside the whole time and it took us 11 hours to get home because of the stupid fires.
i am pretty sure i wont be heading back to Vegas anytime soon. I really HATE that place.
p.s.the picture is from when we went to lunch at Lake Las Vegas, which was the only fun thing we did. (yes i know i am wearing the same shirt i wore on the 4th of july... i promise i dont live in it)

Yikes that doesn't sounds like a fun trip!! It's almost as good as me being on my flight to the Bahamas and then having a friend bail out so instead I went to a tiny little town called Yuba City.. Have you ever heard of it? Mind you beind in 110 degree weather outside for a funeral... yuck!! Now we can both say we had bad experiences this last week!! I know exactly how you feel!
